Hey guys,

Need a bit of help with these servers we have. They are Dell PowerEdge 1750s, and we're currently looking to see if it's possible to install Windows Server 2003 at all through the available USB ports. There are no disk drives, which is why we're looking at other options. I don't see an option for booting from USB when looking at the boot sequence either, which leads me to think this may not be doable at all.

Anyone here that can confirm whether or not this will work at all?

Thanks

Resolved. :)

I know this has been three years sitting, but I have came to a problem similar to dead.cell's issue. All of my 1750s have disk drives, but the operating system I need to put on them require a dvd drive. I have external dvd drives that I can use, but I cannot figure out how to boot from the USB dvd drive. Any help would be great.

Thanks
