This has gotta be one of the ugliest visual styles I've seen to date. I don't think my blind grandmother would even use this.

Not to be rude, but why is it that Stardock Design makes ugly &$$ designs and then charges for most of them? :x Get a real designer and make something that is as nice as other peoples VS's.

This is definitely a visual style geared towards a child's computer/account, but yeah I agree, hideously ugly.

Actually more than quite a few people have.

You should realize that the style you like is not something for everyone, and that skins like this have an appeal to other people aside from those who "browse" the WB area on Neowin.

Why is every single VS released by you guys bloated? Do you have anything that has a minimal look?

I mean, I can see elements of hard work put into many of these, but overall it looks awful.

Can anyone post a screenshot of any usable and clean Stardock VSs? I'm not hating, I actually like Stardock's products - just curious.

It's a skin, it's not 'usable' it's eyecandy. You either like it or don't, you don't 'use' it.

That means? I find my current VS clean, but i imagine others find it hideously cluttered. I gladly paid the $5 for it, but would have paid the going rate of $10 without hesitation.

My thoughts exactly. This is exactly the kind of styles I was applying when I was using W98. While it's true that this kind of style isn't to everyone's taste, I wonder how much more popular Windowblinds would be if more contemporary-styled themes were used to promote it.
