jnelsoninjax
I have some AVI's that are currently split into 2 separate files and I would like to join them together, I tried a program that I had called AVI Joiner, however the output file was corrupted, so I am in need of another program! 0 treemonster
it would have limited output format options but windows live moviemaker would probably do the trick for free.
0 Nick H. Supervisor Posted November 14, 2010 Supervisor Share Posted November 14, 2010 If you're just joining two videos together then Windows Movie Maker would be fine.

TIA Your goal is to join them without a reencode, right? If those two files have the same encoding properties then Ultra Video Joiner can join them without reencoding. http://www.aone-soft.com/joiner.htm You can probably achieve this with an avisynth script with MeGUI too. One method using mencoder. http://www.mediabrowser.tv/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2658

0 Pupik
Or using VirtualDub http://www.vladd44.com/video/join.php I already suggested that, and that tutorial is wrong. Selecting "full-processing mode" will reencode the files. He will need to select "direct stream copy" for both video and audio, to join the files without reencoding; which saves ton of time.
