mauro
I'm the developer of Ahoihoi, an alternative AIM client for Windows. Here's a description from the website: Ahoihoi is an Instant Messaging (IM) client for the AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) network. Versoworks is an AIM Partner, which means Ahoihoi uses the official Open AIM platform for authorised use of the AIM network. Ahoihoi is very simple to use with many features that IM users have come to love. Ahoihoi works on Windows XP, Vista or 7 and requires Internet Explorer v6, 7 or 8. Ahoihoi is absolutely free. Fluxii Media
Pretty cool program, using it now, I love the aero theme, and all the options... pretty sweet, just need to get a few more things in like Voice/Video chat if possible :)
mauro
Pretty cool program, using it now, I love the aero theme, and all the options... pretty sweet, just need to get a few more things in like Voice/Video chat if possible :) Thanks for the feedback :D I've just released a new version so make sure you grab it. As for video/voice chat, I can add voice chat but not video because the Open AIM SDK licensing doesn't allow it unfortunately :(

mauro
I've released a Beta version which adds a Stock Ticker amongst other things, similar to that found in the old AIM v5.x. You can grab the Beta by using the Help > Check for Updates menu on the current AHoihoi release.
