stevember
For months now we have been waiting for an iPad version, they have come up with numerous excuses. I am a premium subscriber but this is getting crazy. We need to start putting pressure on them. If you feel the same way please reply here or join the Facebook group. iKenndac
Why not wait for the iPad 2, its coming soon. What has that got to do with this thread? On topic, I love how people make big petitions on Facebook or Neowin or wherever, where the people who run Spotify are pretty much guaranteed to never, ever see them. Why don't y'all make a fuss on Spotify's proper customer service site instead? stevember and MightyJordan 2 Share
CPressland
Why don't y'all make a fuss on Spotify's proper customer service site instead? Agreed. Yeah I can see how using the iPhone Version would suck. I lost interest in Spotify a while ago, iTunes does everything I need and the iPads built in iPod is great. Quattrone
What has that got to do with this thread? Some developers wait for a new updated iPad to release new software. They may or not release it but that's why i suggest to wait for the iPad 2.

Why don't y'all make a fuss on Spotify's proper customer service site instead? Most of the time I would agree, but as they are very active on Facebook themselves, as they are very selective in what they decide to see on their customer services side I do think this does not harm. Dick Montage
Why not wait for the iPad 2, its coming soon. Oh please, stop spouting crap! So what if the updated hardware comes out fairly soon? It will/should still support the majority of apps. stevember and MightyJordan 2 Share
acnpt
I don't have an iPad, but what exactly is wrong with the iPhone version? Doesn't take advantage of the resolution. Here is what the iPod app looks like, and two unofficial Spotify mockups too. stevember 1 Share

bbfc_uk
that looks good :-) Its the same with fb, how come no full sized app, even thou thats not as important as a spotify app Didnt facebook say that it was because iPad users can access the full site via safari making it a better experience than the app.
bastones
Didnt facebook say that it was because iPad users can access the full site via safari making it a better experience than the app. Yeah, Facebook said they won't be developing an iPad version of the Facebook app because they consider the iPad as a computer like device. And while I agree, it appears Facebook Chat doesn't work in Safari which means you have to use your IM client on the iPad to use Facebook Chat - hopefully they will fix that in the future.
