Create apple ID without Credit Card

Hi guys, I need to create an apple ID for my little sister, as she got a new Ipod touch for her birthday. The problem here is that it used to allow to create the account without a credit card but not now. I tried both from Ipod and the itunes but no luck.

kindly show me what to do?

you have to "buy" a free app or ibook, after that you will have the option to select none in the buying options screen.

well you could go to itunes page on facebook and get a free sampler code, you can redeem it in itunes and from there create a new account.
