Stop WB from resetting active title bar?

Problem: I have a 28 inch monitor and I like my icons in the quick launch as well as the tray area set to very large, and in "appearance" settings via desktop I set the active title bar to around 36 or so. Problem is, every time I reboot, WB skin overrides it yet I dont see how to prevent this. Every single skin I have seems to set the icons in my tray/quicklaunch area way too small. Is there any way to edit WB 6.02 skin or settings so that it ignores just this setting in appearance? I have to constantly readjust this every reboot.
