Everywhere I read, it said 5:30pm pacific, 8:30 EST. :/

The celebration begins then, but the actual download doesn't open until 9 PM PST.... 12 AM for us on the East Coast. What bull.

I agree...kinda stupid if you ask me to release a damn browser at midnight or late at night for most people. I bet Firefox will release mid-day like they did last time with 3x and had some big celebration and everything.. good thinking MS!

On another note: how many installers are we going to see? XP,Vista and Win7 all in different 32/64bit versions?

There will be 4, Win7 32-bit, Win7 64-bit, Vista 32-bit, Vista 64-bit. The 64-bit editions will also install the 32-bit version so that you can use plug-ins such as flash and others.

WinVista x86/x64

Windows XP is unsupported ;)
