I was error-checking the 1TB USB hard drive... for disc integrity. It takes forever, but I think it finished, but not sure how it did cuz my computer shut down on it's own. It do this a lot lately, which I think has to do with severe lack of hard drive space.

Anyway to look up the USB HDD scan result, without scanning it again?

I think the test creates a hidden txt file on the drive it checks. I've seen it on USB flash drives. Not entirely sure but see if it exists.

Perhaps it is not possible.

It should leave a file I think; and yes I know how long it can take, I scanned my 2TB drives ... took few days

I'm not sure it'll be in there but have a look in "Event Viewer" in computer management. Organize the columns by Level and have a look for any warning/errors.
