I don't see why not. :) Depends how good/bad the SGS II is out of the box I suppose as to whether there is any improvement to be made

I'm very impressed with the mic pickup out the box really, the quality is greata nd it picks up a lot of ambience, I will have to record a video when there's a lot going on sound wise and update my OP.

Thanks for this review, quite interesting to see how the SGS2 compares to my SGS1, nice photos also. :)

Would it be possible to share your minimalistic text config?

That is a very nice phone, I just recently bought an LG E900 Optimus 7 but the GSII is so awesome (Though not available here yet).
