Yeah, if the ratings stay around or below 3 million, don't expect a 5th season guys. I don't think FOX will extend it again with those numbers being so low at this point. Which is sad, since this is one of the few shows that is actually deep and interesting and doesn't provide "stupid" entertainment as I like to call it these days.

Fringe?s numbers, lastly, live in two worlds: Returning to 3.53 million total viewers and a 1.5 demo rating, there is one universe where the show was down 30 percent from its year-ago premiere. Yet in another universe, those numbers represent increases of 7 and 25 percent from where it left off with its May finale.

Hasn't Fox stated that Fringe is big in the DVR ratings?

I personally think this is the last season for the show anyway, I read somewhere that the series finale has already been written.

I'd rather they end it on a good note with a satisfying ending anyway.

I like the episode but I found some parts a bit confusing. It seemed as though

Fringe division didn't exist anymore in the main universe. About halfway through the episode, Olivia explains to Lee why they can't return the bodies of Fringe-related victims. She said that they'd have to file official documentation which would draw the attention of Fringe division. At first, it seemed as though she was referring to just one Fringe division: the one from the other side.

She means that the document filing would draw attention to the fringe division. The public does not know the fringe division even exists.

Fringe star Anna Torv has supported the notion that the show should end after five years.

Torv's co-star John Noble recently admitted that he expects the Fox sci-fi drama to conclude after a fifth season.

"People have been quoting [series co-creator] JJ [Abrams] for a while saying [that] four or five years is kind of enough," Torv told the Coventry Telegraph. "I tend to agree with him."

The actress added that she has no desire to "run [the series] into the ground".

"If you're doing a straight-up procedural series, I think you can go on, because you've got so many stand-alone episodes," she explained. "Whereas with our show it certainly feels like it's picked up the pace as well."

Torv also admitted that she is uncertain about the likelihood of a Fringe spinoff film, suggesting that the show would not work on the big screen.

"I feel like it's so intricate, it feels like an epic story now," she said. "I don't think it would be a very good film."

There's no reason to draw this type of show out, really we just need to work out this bit with Peter and then it should be over. I honestly don't see why they should do more once the problems with the other side are worked out and the holes are closed/fixed. All of which can happen in this season.

There's a lot more to the show than the other side. They could explain things like who the observers are and why fringe events are occurring. I think the show could continue for at least another season.

Some things are better left unexplained, the observers are one of those things that will probably never be fully explained, and there's no real reason to do so either. Fringe events are going on because of Walter ripping holes to the other side and other experiments he and Bell did in the past, that's all pretty clear right now, I don't see what more we need to know exactly.

The company's VP of vehicle hardware engineering, Charles **** said that leaders overlooked the deep experience of veterans who survived many product cycles. **** admitted that simply replacing them with AI was a huge mistake, and that while AI is "a fantastic tool," it remains "only as good as the information you use to train it." The rehired engineers now run mandatory meetings to troubleshoot vehicles and reprogram automated engineering software and AI tools to prevent glitches before production. These technical specialists hunt for failure points before parts ever reach the plant floor, helping prevent the massive recalls and defects that previously cost the company billions as it aims to cut one billion dollars in expenses this year. In last year's JD Power Quality Survey, an annual study that measures the quality of a car during the first three months of ownership, Ford finished 10th among mainstream brands and scored below the industry average. But this year, JD Power ranked the automaker as the top mainstream brand, placing it above the likes of Toyota Motor Corp. and Honda Motor Co. Ford attributed this massive improvement directly to the expertise of these returned engineers. Ford's realization that AI cannot magically design and test quality vehicles without senior human oversight is just the tip of the iceberg. When Careerminds looked at companies that conducted AI-driven layoffs, researchers found out that 35.6% of those companies had to rehire more than half of the employees they previously fired. Another 32.7% had to rehire between 25% and 50% of them. In 2024, Sebastian Siemiatkowski, CEO of Klarna, proudly announced that its new chatbot was doing the work of 700 full-time customer service agents. As a result, the fintech company froze hiring and cut hundreds of positions. But by mid 2025, and into 2026, Klarna was scrambling to recruit human agents again because customer satisfaction had plummeted.
