Reminders for free Xbox 360 points

Recommended Posts

Just sitting at home and done each of these recently, wanting to remind everyone that they have two free ways to receive free Microsoft points from Microsoft.

- visiting rewards.xbox.com; signing in and taking a monthly 5 question survey worth 20 points. After every 100 points accumulated they are added to your XBL account. In addition to that your fist time using Netflix on XBL is worth 100 points as is your first XBL purchase after joining the program.

- Secondly, visiting http://www.bing.com/rewards/signup/web you can acquire up to 28 Bing points daily + 250 for joining. Bing points can be used for purchasing MANY items, but for the purpose of this post 500 Bing points are redeemable for 400 Microsoft points.

I know to many of you this is common knowledge but I wanted to just help make others aware. Especially after 300 points were just added to my XBL account and I'm nearing acquiring the 400 point gift card.

I did forget to mention that though I was unaware of restrictions due to location, a more recent addition is the previously the Bing Rewards program was only available via the Bing Bar in IE9 and Firefox on Windows 7 it is now able to run in Safari on OS X.

I've been a non stop Gold member since the launch of the xbox 360 and I never heard of that program!

I signed in and I have to wait 48 hours now, hope it will work as I'm from Belgium.

Yeah the program began in November of 2010 if memory serves me correctly. I, myself have been a member since XBL original launch on the first Xbox an wish points were retroactive as well but obviously that'd be quite a few free items for much of the community ha

Already got over 2000 Microsoft Points by using the Rewards program and the Bing search :) got to love it.

How long does it take for them to mail you the 400 points card? I remember reading it could take a while (6-8 weeks), or maybe have they changed it and just given you a code?

oh ok, well, i'm not getting into that whole Bing business, i don't even use Bing. Google and Yahoo are more than enough for me.

Same here, as tempted as I was I just was not going to change my established habits. Would have not felt right.

I crossed 500 bing credits yesterday (Y) hello 400 points :p

For those complaining/wondering about changing habits - just change your browser default search engine to bing. You get 250 points when you start up and if you keep on using bing, credits add up fast. There are also "click here for 6 credits" links next to search results - click and back (repeat 3 times to get 18 at a time).

Good tip, I was unaware of this.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
