Microsoft to release demo for Xbox exclusive 'ScreamRide' tonight

Microsoft plans to publish a demo for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One exclusive game "ScreamRide" tonight, giving gamers their first taste of the rollercoaster-building title.

According to a post on Xbox Wire, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners can begin digitally pre-ordering and pre-downloading the game today in advance of its March 3 release. All users on both the consoles will be able to download tonight's demo, which will include portions of each of the three career modes (driving, engineering and demolishing rollercoasters).

While most rollercoaster games focus solely on building structure, "ScreamRide" has very different goals: scaring riders and demolishing structures with rollercoasters.

"ScreamRide" is the first of three exclusive downloadable Xbox games scheduled in a two-month span. Following the rollercoaster game, the platformer "Ori and the Blind Forest" will be released March 11, and the zombie action game "State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition" will come out April 28.
