Wouldn't trust Chinese written software. Most likely Government sponsored and calling home at regular intervals.

What's the difference in this calling home, which I would hope was for updating purposes, and the way Firefox and Chrome constantly phone home and every where else!!

I will still trust American product and accept chrome & firefox reaching google with my data than sharing my data with any chinese product and giving my data to chinese govt. Thats why inspite Maxthon being a better browser I cannot use it

They are correct about one thing anyway. Never heard of it.

Anyone here heard of it or use it?

I've heard of the program, and of the company. I've not used it though. I have used one of their programs in the past, and it was alright. Nothing special mind you.
