Windows 8 build 843x images surface, Windows Explorer renamed

New images of Windows 8 build 843x have leaked and it shows that Windows Explorer is being renamed to File Explorer. Make the jump to learn more and see the screenshots for the build.

As we get closer to the expected RTM announcement in late July, we will slowly learn more about the subtle changes coming to the release build of Windows 8. While we know we will get a new theme with the retail build, we are also now seeing that Windows Explorer will be renamed File Explorer.

The name change is the only noticeable update to this later build but it goes to show that Microsoft is not done tweaking Windows 8. We have heard previously that the final build of Windows 8 will be in the 8500 class, we cannot verify that information.

Microsoft is on the cusp of releasing their most ambitious update to the Windows platform in over a decade. Stick around as the fun is only getting started.
