Why are people surprised? As much as some people hated Vista, how many Vista transformation packs were created for XP?

Actually this isn't a bad thing. Remember there are people out there who do like the new Win 8 start screen. . .just because you and I prefer the win 7 start menu doesn't mean those who do shouldn't have it on win 7 or XP machines.
