The first set of Google Pixel 5 renders have made their way to the internet showing the design of the device in all its glory. The leak comes courtesy of @OnLeaks, in association with PriceBaba, who is known for his accurate renders.
The leaked renders show that the Pixel 5 might have a design language that's similar to the Pixel 4 series. The rectangular camera hump will house three camera sensors instead of two as seen on the Pixel 4 XL. Interestingly, Google could also be bringing back the fingerprint scanner with the Pixel 5, which will be located at the rear of the device akin to the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 series. There's no Soli-based face unlock here as evident from the bezel-less display design at the front.
OnLeaks claims the Pixel 5's display will measure around 5.7 to 5.8-inches with a refresh rate of likely 90Hz. It will feature a unibody design and measure 144.7 x 70.4 x 8.1mm. Previous leaks indicate the Pixel 5 will feature a Snapdragon 765G chipset, 5G support, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of base storage. The power and volume rockers are located on the right edge of the device, while the USB-C port and two speaker grilles are located at the bottom.
Google has already confirmed that it will launch the Pixel 5 alongside the 5G variant of the Pixel 4a later this fall. A rumor from earlier this week claimed that Google could announce the Pixel 5 on September 30th.
