Amazfit Active 2 Premium smartwatch has dropped to its lowest price to date

Amazon is currently offering the Amazfit Active 2 Premium smartwatch for Android and iPhone at its lowest price yet with a 29% discount. The Active 2 comes with a stainless-steel bezel with a polymer middle frame, two physical buttons, a built-in microphone and speaker, and a rotor motor. The Premium model includes a 20mm wide quick-release leather strap, fitting wrists measuring 150-210mm.

The smartwatch features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a density of 353 PPI. The Premium version is protected by sapphire glass for enhanced durability. For connectivity and positioning, the Amazfit Active 2 supports Bluetooth 5.2 and BLE, and includes five satellite positioning systems with circularly polarised antenna technology for improved location accuracy. Furthermore, it uses the BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor for health tracking and includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, barometric altimeter, ambient light sensor, and temperature sensor.

Health monitoring features include continuous tracking of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), stress levels, and skin temperature. Users can perform manual one-tap measurements for heart rate, SpO2, and stress levels. Sleep monitoring tracks sleep stages (including REM), heart rate variability, daytime naps, sleep breathing quality, and provides a sleep score. Additional wellness tools include readiness scores and insights, the PAI health assessment system, heart-rate recovery tracking, menstrual cycle tracking, breathing exercises, and alerts for abnormal heart rate, low blood oxygen, and high stress levels.

Moreover, the watch supports 164 sports modes and can automatically recognise 25 strength training exercises and 8 common sports activities. Users can create training templates via the Zepp App and perform interval training directly on the watch. Advanced running features include Track Run mode, smart trajectory correction, and a virtual pacer. Zepp Coach provides guided training, while PeakBeats delivers workout status analysis. The watch can connect to external devices such as heart-rate belts, running power meters, and cycling sensors, and workout data can be synchronised with platforms including Strava, adidas Running, TrainingPeaks, komoot, Relive, Google Fit, and Apple Health.

In addition, smart features include Zepp Flow AI assistant support in selected regions, membership and shortcut cards, event reminders, and to-do lists. Smartphone integration enables Bluetooth music control, camera control for iOS devices, call, SMS, and app notifications, Android quick replies, and a Find My Phone function. Productivity and everyday tools include an alarm clock, world clock, stopwatch, Pomodoro timer, weather updates, thermometer, sedentary reminders, screen lock and password protection, Do Not Disturb mode, voice memos, and morning updates.

The Active 2 is water-resistant to 5 ATM, making it suitable for water-based activities. It is compatible with Android 7.0 or later and iOS 14.0 or later and operates with the Zepp App. Finally, the smartwatch is powered by a 270 mAh battery that should charge via a magnetic charging base in approximately two hours. Battery life should last up to 10 days under typical use, up to 19 days in battery saver mode, and up to 5 days with heavy usage. Continuous GPS use should last up to 21 hours.
