Amazon Prime users can grab this AMD RX 9070 Sapphire 16GB VRAM GPU for just $620

The new GPUs from both AMD and Nvidia have been elusive to obtain. And even when they are in stock, they tend to be highly overpriced. Well, fortunately, if you happen to be shopping for one today and have a budget of around $600 then the Sapphire Pulse is up for grabs for $620 but only for Amazon Prime members (purchase link down below).

We reviewed both the RX 9070 and 9070 XT Sapphire Pulse models (sent by AMD) and we were very impressed by the cards. The former performed well at both gaming as well as in productivity (including AI tasks).

While we did criticize the RX 9070 non-XT for its relatively poorer value compared to the 9070 XT, it received our high praise in terms of cooling and efficiency. This was despite the Sapphire Pulse cooler having two fans and being a 2.5-slot card. This means the thermal design of the GPU is certainly very impressive and is made possible thanks to Sapphire"s AeroCurve fan design which is said to reduce friction and air resistance, all while maintaining lower noise levels.

Another reason behind such cool temperatures is also the included Honeywell PTM7950 thermal interface material (TIM). The PTM7950 is a Phase Change Pad with a "Thermal Impedance of 0.04 - 0.08 (OC cm²/w) and Thermal Conductivity of 8.5 w/mk."

The Pulse 9070 is rated for 220 watt total board power (TBP) and packs two PCIe 8-pin power connectors. This power headroom is enough to take the core Boost clock up to 2520 MHz, though the typical average (game) clock is 2070 MHz.
