Amazon still offers Xbox Game Pass at old prices

There is a great disturbance among gamers right now. On October 1, 2025, Microsoft announced a massive price increase for the Game Pass Service, hiking the cost of the Ultimate tier by a whopping 50%. Now, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs $29.99 per month, and with no yearly plan, the service will cost as much as a new Xbox over just one year. However, you can stack up some Game Pass codes, as Amazon still has them at old prices.

While the updated Game Pass structure indeed offers more benefits to users, such as cloud gaming across all tiers, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at $29.99 per month is now a tough pill to swallow for a lot of users. In fact, so many users attempted to cancel their Game Pass membership after the announcement that Microsoft"s website started to struggle with processing their requests. PC Game Pass with day-one releases is also now more expensive at $16.49, but you can still get it at the old price as well.
