AMD reported its Q2 results last night and the quarter was absolutely massive for the company. The revenue has nearly doubled YoY in both GAAP and non-GAAP terms. Net income and earnings per share, among other things, have also exhibited enormous growth. Aside from this. the company has also shared more details on its upcoming products. More precisely, we have further information on Zen 4, the fourth major iteration of the Zen CPU micro-architecture, as well as Radeon"s next-gen RDNA 3 graphics architecture straight from the horse"s mouth, the CEO Dr. Lisa Su herself.
Su has stated that the company"s plan to launch Zen 4-based processors - which will purportedly comprise the Ryzen 7000 series lineup (codenamed "Raphael") - is "on-track" for next year. The upcoming CPUs will be built on an "industry-leading 5nm process technology". Over on the graphics side, RDNA 3 or Navi 3X would also be arriving in 2022, although the company appears to be undecided on what process node to build it on.

This confirmation ties in nicely with earlier reports about the upcoming Socket AM5 platform and support for DDR5 DRAM technology on Ryzen arriving in 2022.
