AppleCare One is Apple"s new coverage plan that allows users to protect multiple devices with a single subscription. For $19.99 per month, users can cover up to three devices. Apple also lets you add more devices for $5.99 per month for each. AppleCare One will be available in the United States starting tomorrow, with the sign-up option available directly in Apple devices or Apple stores.
Apple says that with AppleCare One, coverage is about $11 per month cheaper than enrolling an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch separately. Additionally, Apple allows enrolling more devices to AppleCare One—customers can add products that are already outside the 60-day enrollment window. These devices should be in "good condition" and no older than four years old.
With AppleCare One, Apple is also simplifying plan management. For example, when you trade in a covered iPhone, it is automatically removed from the subscription and replaced with the new device. Also, AppleCare One lets you maintain coverage for as long as you want for as many products as you want, assuming you are ready to pay $5.99 for each additional device beyond the standard three-device limit.
