Microsoft"s newest edition of Xbox Free Play Days has just landed, and it is carrying one of the biggest games of 2025: Battlefield 6. This means you can jump into the title for no extra cost as long as you have any sort of Game Pass subscription, including the Essential tier. The title just received its second major seasonal update too, which is also available to try over the weekend.
"During this weekend trial period, all Battlefield 6 content - maps, modes, weapons, vehicles, and more, including all the new content from Season 2 - is available to play for Game Pass Owners," explains EA. "Simply download the game via Xbox Game Pass and enjoy Battlefield 6; you have plenty of time to experience the Campaign, test your skills in Multiplayer, or dabble in the expansive Portal library."
If shooters are not your style, then the third-person strategy game Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, the multiplayer hide-and-seek game Polterguys: Possession Party, and the shared turn-based tactical RPG Sunderfolk are all a part of the latest Free Play Days selection too. Lastly, fans of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series can try their hand at Cursed Clash for 2v2 battles featuring characters from the franchise and their unique powers.
As always, any progress made during the weekend also carries over automatically if you decide to purchase a game afterward.

To easily find the titles on Xbox consoles, first head to the Store, then in the sidebar, see the Home section. In there, open the Subscriptions tab. The Free Play Days collection will show up in this area.
