Bungie's Destiny 2 will require at least 68GB of space on launch day

This week saw the official announcement and also the release of a reveal trailer for Destiny 2. The title will come in September, but when it does, it will need quite a bit of space on supported consoles. According to a disclaimer found on the bottom of the official web page, the game will need a minimum of 68GB of storage space.

The detail was found by the folks at FPSPOINT+ who also noted that this will not be the final size of the title since there will most likely be a patch on the first day. Naturally, as time progresses and more things are added to the game, Destiny 2 could end up taking quite a bit of space by the end of its run a few years from now.

Those that are interested can now preorder the game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title will come in a variety of different editions and will start at $59.99. As an added bonus, those that preorder will gain access to an early beta before its eventual release on September 8.
