Disco Elysium - The Final Cut is free to claim on the Epic Games Store

The ninth day of the Epic Games Store"s mystery giveaway promotion has officially landed, and that means a new game is here. The store has begun a giveaway for Disco Elysium - The Final Cut this time. PC gamers can grab the newest drop and keep it forever if they claim it before the next freebie appears tomorrow, December 26.

Developed by ZA/UM and released in 2019, the game is an award-winning RPG experience that focuses on giving players freedom of choice over everything. Presented in an isometric perspective, the game takes the role of a detective with amnesia who is attempting to solve a murder case.

"Mix and match from 24 wildly different skills. Develop a personal style with 80 clothes items. Wield 14 tools from guns to flashlights to a boombox, or pour yourself a cocktail of 6 different psychoactive substances," says the developer regarding the role-playing options. "Develop your character even further with 60 wild thoughts to think – with the detective"s Thought Cabinet."

The giveaway is for The Final Cut version of the game. This carries full voice acting for the almost 100 characters in the storyline, as well as new quests for players to explore.

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut is free to claim on the Epic Games Store for the next 24 hours. As the special holiday promotion continues, nobody outside of Epic Games knows yet what will be available next time. The upcoming mystery freebie will reveal itself and unlock for all PC gamers at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, December 26.

So far, the store"s offer has given away Hogwarts Legacy, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, Eternights, Blood West, Sorry We"re Closed, Paradise Killer, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and The Callisto Protocol to keep for PC gamers. The event is set to run until December 31 with a fresh giveaway every day.
