EE, the UK"s largest mobile network, has announced a major new offer for new and existing pay-monthly customers.

From July 27, all EE customers on consumer and small business pay-monthly handset, tablet and SIM-only plans will be given six months of free access to all BT Sport channels via their smartphone or tablet.

EE says that customers will be able to enjoy full access to BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport Europe, and ESPN on BT Sport, including coverage of:

  • Every match in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League
  • 42 Premier League matches
  • The Emirates FA Cup
  • SPFL
  • Aviva Premiership Rugby
  • European Rugby Champions Cup
  • America’s Cup
  • MotoGP, UFC and more

The BT Sport app, which is available on iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices, offers live and on-demand content, which includes "an array of additional video clips including highlights, interviews, video diaries, fixtures, results and league tables."

After six months of free service, users will be able to continue subscribing to the service for £5 a month, or they can cancel the service without further charge. You can register for further information via this page.

EE says this is the "first of a series of benefits to be made available" to its customers since the network was acquired by BT earlier this year, in a deal worth £12.5 billion.
