Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and Elite Controller announced, launch November 15

Today, Microsoft revealed a Limited Edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X alongside a similarly-themed Xbox Elite Wireless Controller - Series 2. The console includes access to Halo Infinite and should retail for $549.99, while the controller should cost $199.99 at participating retailers. Keep in mind that both of them are priced more than their standard versions.

The Xbox Series X features an elegant dark gray and gold design that resembles Spartan armor and, to some degree, the Halo ring the game takes place on. There"s also a stunning star-lit sky pattern at the drop of the device. The regular controller that"s bundled with the console follows a similar design philosophy. Suffice to say, it"s going to be a popular console this holiday season!

The Series 2 Xbox Elite Controller hasn"t received a revamp like we had hoped for, but it still looks gorgeous. Unlike the console, this implement focuses on Master Chief and features design cues from his helmet and torso armor. His "117" designation is also prominently displayed on the top right of the controller.

Both the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and Xbox Elite Controller will launch on November 15. Pre-orders aren"t live on the Microsoft Store as of now, so you"ll have to call your local video-game retailers to secure one. They"ll probably go fast.

What do you think of both devices? Will you pre-order them? Let us know.
