In Italy, love means getting a free Lumia 435 when you buy a Lumia 535

Microsoft is sharing the love this Valentine"s Day with a special promotion available in Italy; the company is offering a free Lumia 435 when you buy a Lumia 535 for a limited period next month.

Simply purchase a Lumia 535 between February 4 and 15; then register your purchase any time on Microsoft"s "Amore Esagerato" site before February 22, and a free Lumia 435 will be sent out to you.

You can currently pick up the Lumia 535 for around €110 EUR on Amazon Italia, but if you shop around, you may be able to find it for less. The device features a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage (plus microSD support up to 128GB), 5MP selfie cam, 5MP rear camera with flash, and a 5-inch LCD with qHD (960x540px) resolution.

Microsoft unveiled the Lumia 435 a couple of weeks ago, targeting the lowest end of the market as the most affordable Windows Phone ever. Microsoft"s suggested retail price for the device is €69 EUR (before taxes and subsidies) off-contract, but despite its low price, the 4-inch handset still includes a rear camera with LED flash, front-facing camera, and 1GB of RAM.

If you"re looking for an affordable gift in Italy for your beloved this Valentine"s Day, this deal certainly seems worth a look. But whatever you do, make sure you don"t ask them to marry you while standing in the middle of 99 iPhones arranged in a heart shape; that won"t end well.
