Insiders on Windows 10 can finally use panorama in the Camera app

Exactly two months after it was first rumored, Microsoft is offering an update to the Windows Camera app that will bring panorama functionality. It"s only available to Windows 10 users that are running an Insider Preview build of the Anniversary Update.

Like the slow motion video capture feature that was released last year, panorama is exclusive to only certain devices. Microsoft"s post in the Feedback Hub confirms that it works with the Lumia 550, 650, 950, 950 XL, Surface 3, Pro 4, and Book.

In our testing, it worked fine on a Nokia Lumia 930; however, it wasn"t available as an option on the Lumia 830 or the Yezz Billy 4.7.

This should be big news for Lumia users, as Microsoft ended support for Lumia Panorama back in September. There hasn"t been a viable replacement for the functionality until now.
