Lenovo's wildest MWC 2026 concepts include a foldable gaming PC and an AI desk clock

While Lenovo launched several practical, ready-to-buy laptops at Mobile World Congress 2026, the company couldn’t resist using the Barcelona trade show to flex its more experimental muscles. Lenovo introduced a collection of unique, maybe even borderline gimmicky concepts to the showroom today.

We cannot buy any of these specific items just yet, but they provide an entertaining glimpse into Lenovo’s ideas of what consumer hardware should look like in the future.

Here is a look at the most interesting concepts Lenovo showcased.

Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept

This is one of the most unique creative tools we’ve seen in a while. This device allows you to transform 2D designs into legitimate 3D models using AI. Instead of a traditional laptop with a screen and a physical keyboard, the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept features two large PureSight Pro Tandem OLED displays joined by a hinge. All you need to do is load a 2D image on the bottom screen, transfer that image to the upper screen with a simple swipe or prompt, and the Yoga Book Pro 3D automatically transforms that image into a 3D model, which you can then edit further.

A built-in RGB camera tracks your hands, letting you grab, rotate, and zoom in on 3D objects hovering on the upper display (which supports glasses-free 3D via lenticular tech and eye-tracking). The bottom screen acts as your workspace, where you can snap physical, magnetic tool pads directly onto the glass to control the 3D model by doing things like adjusting lighting, color, or the position of the model.

It’s truly a unique concept that could find its place in the 3D creators" space. But if Lenovo ever takes it to market, it will remain a niche product. The device is hyper-specialized for 2D-to-3D conversion and editing workflows, and those physical magnetic tools, although looking cool, are a peripheral that you’ll need to separately look after, which might not be very convenient for everyone.

Legion Go Fold Concept

Someone at Lenovo asked, “Do you want a foldable tablet, a gaming console, or a portable PC?” and the answer was “Yes.” Lenovo Go Fold is a 7.7-inch Windows 11 tablet, until you unfold it. Then it becomes an 11.6-inch Windows 11 tablet. And when you add the attachable controller, it becomes a vertical handheld console. Yes, it’s intended to be vertical, meaning that when you want to play a game, the actual gameplay is only shown on the top portion of the screen.

You can also attach the controller horizontally, but holding an 11.6-inch brick in your hands feels awkward and would tire you fast enough. So, if you want horizontal gameplay, your best bet would be to stick to the 7.7-inch folded form.

You can also ditch the controller entirely, connect the keyboard and mouse, and you’ve got a legit portable PC. The specs are actually competitive for a portable gaming concept with the Intel Lunar Lake chip and 32GB RAM. But it’s still a portable device, so you can’t run the latest games at the highest settings.

AI Work Companion Concept

In case you can’t get enough AI in everything you use daily, Lenovo showcases an AI-powered desk clock. This high-tech clock uses AI to pull plans, tasks, calendars, emails, and schedules from all your devices and present them to you as a summary on its screen. It also has a few additional functionalities, like reminding you about lunch breaks and monitoring your screen time. This is still a concept, so we don’t have the details, but if Lenovo ever officially launches it, we’ll see how the clock will actually pull all your relevant data from across your devices and apps. I’m sure many users would be glad to hand over their data to yet another company.

Perhaps the most useful feature of the AI Work Companion is the built-in USB hub. So you can connect all your chargers to it, and actually decrease the clutter on your desk.

Yoga Creative Keyboard AngryMiao Edition

Built in collaboration with high-end PC peripheral manufacturer AngryMiao, this is a massive, desktop-bound mechanical keyboard built from a solid block of aluminum. Tipping the scales at an absurd 2.6 kilograms (nearly six pounds), it is absolutely not meant to be carried in a backpack. The keyboard is specifically built for video editors and producers.

Perhaps the most striking feature is a giant, built-in rotary knob designed for physically scrubbing backwards and forwards through video editing timelines. It also includes a dedicated hardware button that instantly switches your audio output between your laptop speakers and your studio monitors. Just like the Yoga Book 3D Pro concept, this is also intended for the niche audience who need, well, a knob for moving the video editing timeline.

Unlike other items in this article, which are still pure concepts, the Yoga Creative keyboard will actually hit the stores in June.
