Microsoft cuts $150 off entry-level Surface Pro 4 in the US - but not for long

There"s been no shortage of deals available on Microsoft"s Surface devices in the US lately. Buyers of certain Surface Book and Pro 4 models can currently get a free $150 gift code with their purchase, while the entry-level Surface Book is now available with 10% off its usual price.

Now, Microsoft has launched yet another deal - but it won"t be available for much longer.

Until the end of the day on September 26, Microsoft is offering the entry-level Surface Pro 4 with $150 (just under 17%) off its usual $899 price, bringing it down to $749. It has a sixth-generation (Skylake) Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD.

That deal comes just two days after another one ended, offering $150 off the next model up in the Pro 4 range, with an Intel Core i5 processor.

This latest flurry of promotional discounts and freebies comes amid rumors that Microsoft is preparing to launch "refreshed" versions of the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, featuring upgraded processors, and possibly some other minor spec revisions. That announcement is expected to come next month, alongside the launch of a new Surface all-in-one PC.
