Microsoft updates Groove on Android, enabling users to share their playlists

Last month, Microsoft delivered a major update to its Groove music app on Windows 10 devices, including a very welcome new feature: the ability to share playlists. It"s perhaps a little surprising that such a fundamental feature has been absent from Microsoft"s music platform for so long, but the company has wasted little time in making it more widely available since then.

After rolling it out to Groove on iOS last week, Microsoft has now brought the new feature to its app on Android too. The latest update bumps the Android version up to 11.0228.1619, and is available to download now from the Google Play store.

The release notes for the update are as follows:

Share your personal playlists with friends on social media, in email, and in other apps

Various bug fixes

Last month, Microsoft also updated its Arrow Launcher app for Android devices, referring to it as its "biggest release yet".
