Nvidia has a new update to its cloud gaming platform GeForce NOW, and compared to recent weeks, it"s a pretty straightforward list of additions. Games are the focus this time, with five more titles joining the service"s supported list for streaming.
One of the biggest additions is Screamer, the Milestone S.r.l.-developed title that landed earlier today. While it sounds like a horror game, it"s a retro racing game-inspired arcade racer. There"s a complete campaign, power-ups, and online modes here.
Continuing additions from Microsoft-owned studios, Diablo II: Resurrected"s Steam version is available via the platform now too.
Here are the games joining GeForce NOW"s supported list this week:
- Screamer (New release on Steam, March 26, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
- King’s Quest (New release on Ubisoft, March 25)
- BATTLETECH (Xbox, available on Game Pass)
- Despot’s Game (Xbox, available on Microsoft)
- Diablo II: Resurrected (Steam)
Keep in mind that Nvidia announced last week that the free tier of GeForce NOW is going through some changes. Starting April 1, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Motorsport, Icarus, and Ark: Survival Ascended will not be available to free users of the streaming service, with only Premium and above members being able to enjoy them. The company said that this is due to the hardware dedicated to free-tier players not meeting the games" "updated minimum system requirements."
As always, unlike subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via NVIDIA"s cloud servers. There is a limit to how many hours subscribers can use the service per month.
