Nvidia discounts GeForce NOW Ultimate by 50% for Black Friday

The popular game streaming service GeForce NOW from Nvidia is also diving into the Black Friday offerings. The Ultimate subscription tier is being offered for half the price as part of the latest promotion.

GeForce NOW Ultimate usually comes in at $19.99 per month. With the Black Friday special, you can grab it for $10 a month for three months. You have until the end of the month, November 30, to grab the deal. For those in the dark, the Ultimate tier touts up to eight-hour gaming sessions, up to 4K 240 FPS streaming, priority access to the streaming queue, and the new RTX 5080-class servers.

There are a few caveats though. First off, the special offer is only valid for new members, members who are upgrading from the free tier, and Performance tier members who are upgrading from 1- and 6-month subscriptions. Moreover, keep in mind that the Black Friday discount is only available across the US, Mexico, and Japan.

Moving on, any Battlefield 6 players using GeForce NOW to jump into the action can claim a reward in the form of an in-game weapon skin for the Marksman SVK-8.6 DMR. The skin can be claimed until December 26 via the Nvidia service.

A new selection of games has joined GeForce NOW"s supported list this week too:

  • Of Ash and Steel (New release on Steam, Nov. 24, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • Kill It With Fire (Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, Nov. 25)
  • Project Motor Racing (New release on Steam, Nov. 25)
  • Brotato (Steam)
  • Cricket 26 (Steam)
  • GODBREAKERS (Steam)
  • Zero Hour (Epic Games Store)

In addition to these games receiving cloud gaming support, Nvidia also announced that Phasmophobia is now playable on the RTX 5080 servers available for Ultimate members.

As always, keep in mind that, unlike subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via Nvidia"s cloud servers. There is also a limit to how many hours subscribers can use the service per month.
