Office NGO Update

Jim Adams of Vibrant Logic has updated his article after he received the following email from Microsoft on the leaked "flash animation" of the proposed Office .NET codenamed NGO (or Next Generation Office)

Microsoft asked us to remove the links to the presentation.

Here is the actual e-mail that we recieved from them, minus the phone number for privacy reasons:

Jim: I left you a voice message but thought you may be easier to contact via email. Can you please call me as soon as possible concerning your posting of an unauthorized release of an MS concept piece. My number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Thanks.
As you can imagine, Paul Thurrott has updated his page to reflect this. People are buying it.

Vibrant Logic goes on to say that

Tom aka MrMagoo over at neowin.net said "I have had this on my pc for 2 weeks atleast : im convinced its not an april fools joke." This bit of evidence does slightly eliminate the April Fools Joke factor.
Hey! don"t blame us! lol

Anyway this is a heads up that some people still think this is a leaked alpha or proposal, it might well be but lemme just ask that you check out the dates on the screenshots, they are all previous to the release date of XP which makes that proposal quite old indeed. Anyway enough of my rambling. Thanks to oqwarrior and IBelite for reminding us to update.
