OnePlus has a remarkable tradition of launching custom versions of its flagship smartphones. It introduced the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition in December of last year and the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition earlier this year in India.
Next month, the company appears to be launching another custom edition of its latest flagship device, the OnePlus 6T, as part of its partnership with British Formula One car maker McLaren. OnePlus posted a teaser for the special-edition phone"s announcement on Twitter today:
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be announced on December 11 at the McLaren Technology Centre in the UK at 4:30 am EST. Although there"s no imagery of the device"s custom model as of yet, it"s expected to come in orange to match McLaren"s signature color. The pricing and availability details remain unknown for now, though.
With the teaser bearing the tagline "Salute to Speed," the limited edition device is supposed to be a powerhouse in terms of under-the-hood specs just like the regular edition, which was announced last month.
