Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL details get leaked; pricing and colors revealed

Google teased, via a not-so-subtle video, that it will be launching the next-generation Pixel devices on October 4. Rumors of the devices" internals suggest a Snapdragon 836 processor and even an "Active Edge" feature. But, those claims remain under debate. It seems, however, that the folks at Droid Life have somehow gotten ahold of important details regarding the upcoming devices, including their images, pricing details, and colors.

Beginning with Pixel 2, the smaller of the two siblings will arrive in "Kinda Blue", "Just Black", and "Clearly White". The HTC-made device comes in 64GB and 128GB variants, priced at $649 and $749, respectively. Google will - reportedly - also offer financing options: the 64GB Pixel 2 will cost $27.04/mo over 24 months while the 128GB variant will run you $31/mo over 21 months.

Pixel 2 XL in "Black & White" | via Droid Life

Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, goes a little more straightforward with just two color options: "Just Black", and "Black & White". Available as 64GB and 128GB variants, the device will reportedly be priced at $849 and $949, respectively. Like its little sibling, Pixel 2 XL comes with its own financing options: the 64GB variant will cost $35.38/mo, while the 128GB one will cost $39.54/mo, both over 24 months.

Interestingly, the report also provides us with links to purchase the two devices on the Google Store, though that doesn"t quite work just yet for obvious reasons. While this leak may certainly prove helpful for prospective buyers of the new devices, it does slightly extinguish the anticipation for the upcoming Google event.
