Play Facebook's Instant Games like Pac-Man directly from News Feed & Messenger

Facebook wants to make gaming with your friends and family easier than ever with Instant Games. Unlike other Facebook games that require some form of installation and setup, Instant Games are much faster to play; just tap on the title you want to play and get started.

Users will be able to find games to play alone or challenge friends in their Facebook News Feed, but the real fun happens in Messenger. Tapping on the small controller (or gamepad) icon below the typing area will bring up Facebook"s range of games, leaderboards and group conversations.

There are 17 games to choose from, including the classic Pac-Man, Galaga, Arkanoid, and Space Invaders - with more on the way according to Facebook. The video below demonstrates just how easy it is to play.

With these Instant Games being made more accessible and seamless to play, it will be interesting to see whether people start gaming more through Facebook.

Facebook Instant Games will roll out to 30 countries today and is available on HTML 5 compatible browsers, iOS devices running 8.0 (or newer) and Android phones & tablets running 5.0 and above. Developers can also sign up to Facebook"s closed beta here.
