With the weekend fast approaching, Microsoft has kicked off the latest Free Play Days promotion, offering Xbox players plenty of games to try out. This time though, instead of a good mix of different genres, the entire event is filled with Ubisoft games, specifically its Assassin"s Creed franchise. Everything from stealth action classics like Unity and Syndicate to recent RPG entries like Valhalla and Odyssey are here to play for no cost.
This event isn"t exclusive to Game Pass subscribers either, with no requirements being needed to jump in except an Xbox console. As always, any progress made during the weekend also carries over automatically if you decide to purchase a game afterward.
"Which Assassin’s Creed game are you going to jump in for free this weekend? There’s 6 of them on offer this week during Free Play Days," said Microsoft in its announcement. "Even better – they now are ALL in 4K 60 FPS on Xbox Series X."
Below are the announced Assassin"s Creed games and the platforms they are available to play on. All of them are currently on sale as well:
- Assassin"s Creed Valhalla (Xbox Series X|S)
- Assassin"s Creed Unity (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
- Assassin"s Creed Odyssey (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
- Assassin"s Creed Origins (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
- Assassin"s Creed Syndicate (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
- Assassin"s Creed Mirage (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
Keep in mind that unlike the rest of the pack, Assassin"s Creed Mirage has a two-hour limit for playing during the current Free Play Days promotion.
To easily find the titles on Xbox consoles, first head to the Store, then in the sidebar, find the Home section. In there, open the Subscriptions tab. The Free Play Days collection will show up in this area.
Running a little longer than usual, this weekend"s Free Play Days promotions will end on Monday, April 6, at 11:59 pm PT.
