Microsoft has just kicked off its latest Free Play Days offer for Xbox players. This promotion has a fresh slate of games to try out over the weekend, including a first-party strategy hit, a Ubisoft city builder, and even something for sports fans.
The games available are Age of Mythology: Retold, MLB The Show 26, Anno 117: Pax Romana, and The Survivalists. Out of them, only the Age of Mythology remake doesn't require a Game Pass subscription. This means Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can jump into the Ubisoft's Rome-set city-building and management experience Anno 117, the latest edition of the long-running baseball series MLB The Show, as well as the survival sandbox title set in The Escapists universe, The Survivalists, without opening their wallets again.
At the same time, the classic Age of Empires spin-off involving ancient gods and monsters, Age of Mythology, is landing for all Xbox players to try over the weekend. The remake includes completely new visuals and modernized controls, as well as new content via DLC.
As always, any progress made during the weekend also carries over automatically if you decide to purchase a game afterward. All of them are currently on sale on the Microsoft Store as well. Below are all the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on:
- MLB The Show 26 Standard Edition (Xbox Series X|S)
- Anno 117: Pax Romana (Xbox Series X|S)
- The Survivalists (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
- Age of Mythology: Retold (Xbox Series X|S, PC)

To easily find the titles on Xbox consoles, first head to the Store, then in the sidebar, find the Home section. In there, open the Subscriptions tab. The Free Play Days collection will show up in this area.
Both of this week's Free Play Days promotions will end on Sunday, April 26, at 11:59 pm PT.
