Snapchat 'Spectacles' are currently only available from this solitary vending machine

It wasn"t that long ago that Snap Inc. unveiled details for its unique camera eyewear, Spectacles. Today, the company has made the first lot available and unexpectedly, it is available from a solitary vending machine nears its headquarters.

The newly installed vending machine is located in the city of Venice in Southern California. The machine will allow you to purchase a pair of Spectacles that are available in three colors: red, green and black. If unfamiliar, the devices work by tapping a button on the glasses near the temple that will record a short clip. Naturally, these clips can be uploaded to Snapchat, where friends can watch, although it is unclear where they will be uploaded (Memories?).

Perhaps what makes the Spectacles even more unique is its ability to record a "circular" video (shown above), which according to Snap Inc, mimics how we really see the world. Currently, there is only one vending machine available, but the company plans to update the map on its website when future vending machines are installed.
