Surface Book 2 gets its first firmware update with stability fixes

Today, Microsoft published a changelog for a new set of firmware and driver updates for the Surface Book 2. It"s the first update for the new PC, which has only been available since the 16th.

The update is dated November 18, and there are separate updates for PCs on Windows 10 versions 1703 and 1709. Of course, it"s particularly odd that the device shipped with version 1703 to begin with, considering that it shipped almost a full month after version 1709 was released.

According to Microsoft"s Value Indicator chart, today"s updates include improvements for reliability and compatibility, and have no effect on security, connectivity, performance, or battery life. You can manually download the firmware bundle here.
