Temple Run released for Android

Temple Run is a popular iOS game with a fan base covering over 40 million downloads and tons of Android fans have been asking when it will be ported over. We learnt that last week the developer Imangi Studios announced that it would arrive on March 27th and so now we’re proud to announce that the game is now available for Android.

“We are excited to finally share the Android release date with our fans who have been so enthusiastic and supportive of Temple Run,” said Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios. “By expanding to more mobile devices, we hope to provide the same addictive and fast-paced gameplay to an entirely new group of players.”

The game works on just about every Android device available, except Google TV. The game is insanely addictive and is exactly what Android needs in order to stay competitive with the iOS platform’s application line-up. The controls are super simple and are explained the first time the user plays it.

Install Temple Run from here and let us know whether the game was worth the download.
