Recently we covered a couple of great GPU deals, one on an Asus Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti that was on sale at MSRP, and the other on a $200 Intel ARC B570 GPU (still on sale). Both cards can be excellent 1440p gaming GPUs depending on what kind of games you play and what settings you choose.
So if you have something similar and are looking to pair them up with a 1440p high-quality 27-inch screen, then Asus has a very ROG Strix model on offer as it is currently a very good deal at just $525 (purchase link under the specs table down below).
Compared to general OLED, Asus’ WOLED or White OLED approach on this monitor should offer higher sustained brightness in HDR thanks to the inclusion of a white sub-pixel. This allows such panels to push contrasts beyond what many other OLEDs can achieve, while still maintaining excellent color accuracy. Against typical IPS monitors, the difference is supposed to be even more pronounced, with true blacks and vastly superior contrast ratios.
