Two Styx stealth games are free to claim on the Epic Games Store this week

The 2026 giveaways are going strong on the Epic Games Store. The second batch of freebies from the new year landed just now, and it has brought in a couple of adventures from the Styx franchise of stealth games, replacing last week"s Bloons TD 6. You have seven days to add the two games permanently to your Epic Games Store library.

Released in 2014 by Cyanide Studios, Styx: Master of Shadows has players taking control of Styx, a goblin with arcane abilities and hundreds of years old. The stealth title lets you across a dark fantasy universe while sneaking, stealing, and assassinating many on the way. The twist comes from the player"s ability to clone themselves, offering new scouting and diversion opportunities.

"Deep inside the vertiginous and multi-layered forsaken Tower of Akenash, where Humans and Elves protect the World-Tree, source of the Amber – a powerful and magical golden sap – is hidden Styx’ chance to understand his true origin... and to make a fortune at the same time," says the developer about this entry"s storyline.

Next, you can also grab Styx: Shards of Darkness. This 2017-released sequel picks up decades after the events of the last game. Styx is back with even more tricks this time, and there is even a cooperative mode available to play as a clone of the goblin. The sandbox title offers players multiple ways to complete missions.

"Climb the dizzying Elven city, traverse the perilous territory of the Dwarfs, and survive vast unexplored lands filled with lethal dangers to fulfill your mission… failure to succeed could have huge consequences for your kin," the studio adds about the sequel.

The Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness - Deluxe Edition giveaways are now live on the Epic Games Store. PC gamers can add the title to their library for no cost during the seven-day timeframe before the next freebies arrive, which is slated to happen on January 22.
