The Epic Games Store"s freebie offer has just refreshed for the final time this month, and that means a brand-new game is available for all PC gamers to buy. To replace last week"s Rustler - Grand Theft Horse freebie, a copy of Definitely Not Fried Chicken has landed. As usual, you have seven days to add the two games permanently to your Epic Games Store library.
Released in 2023 and developed by Dope Games, the title looks like the usual restaurant management game from afar. But as the game"s name puts it, there"s something extra here.
The gameplay revolves around building a drug empire while having a legitimate business on the side to actually peddle it without risk. On the illegal side, players will be developing new types of narcotics, buying land for making manufacturing lines, as well as setting up production lines and distribution to make sure everything flows smoothly.
At the same time, normal stores such as fried chicken shops, laundromats, and nightclubs must be built with their own proper production facilities and employee chains, all to sell illegal goods without being caught.
Here"s how the studio laid out the key features:
- Start your drug empire from the ground up, distributing marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and other goods
- Balance the demanding tasks of managing both your illegal drugs trade and your “legit” businesses.
- Build and customise your drug compound and business fronts.
- Upgrade your facilities and staff equipment for a better product and a bigger profit
- Design your empire, from fried chicken shops to laundromats to nightclubs
- Manage your workforce, hire & fire, accommodate their wants and needs to do great work.
The Definitely Not Fried Chicken giveaway is now live on the Epic Games Store. PC gamers can add the title to their library for no cost during the seven-day timeframe before the next freebie arrives, which is slated to land on February 5.
