Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers are finally gaining Outriders

The Square Enix-published cooperative action game Outriders launched in March this year, and at the same time, Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox consoles and cloud got to jump in with everyone else for no added cost. While the subscription"s PC variant was left behind back then, it is finally poised to get the game tomorrow.

Revealed today via an Xbox Wire blog, the announcement sets the game"s Xbox Game Pass for PC and Microsoft Store launch for tomorrow, October 19. Save transfers between Xbox consoles and Microsoft Store version will also be enabled when using the same account. However, this won"t be possible with other PC platforms like Steam or Epic.

As with other versions of the game, cross-play will be available at launch here as well, giving Microsoft Store players the ability to team up with players across other PC storefronts as well as Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

Coming from developer People Can Fly, Outriders offers players a third-person shooter experience with RPG elements. There are four classes, Trickster, Pyromancer, Devastator, and Technomancer, with unique abilities to choose from, which can be combined for even flashier effects. Upto three players can jump in together for experiencing the sci-fi story, which takes place in the distant Earth-like planet Enoch after a disaster.
