Microsoft just announced what Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be receiving in the coming couple of weeks as part of the September debut wave. From the six games confirmed to arrive to the game subscription program, the biggest of the bunch is easily Hollow Knight: Silksong.
The Metroidvania experience from Team Cherry is one of the most anticipated games of the year. After a six-year wait, the game finally received a release date just last month, and it is already landing this week for fans. As for why it took so long for it to be finished, the developer said time just slipped by while adding new content and bug fixing, and it wasn"t due to any management issues. Find more details about the release here.
Here are all the games Microsoft announced for Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming today:
- I Am Your Beast (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – Available now
- Nine Sols (Xbox Series X|S) – September 3
- Hollow Knight: Silksong (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 4
- Cataclismo (PC) – September 4
- PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 10
- RoadCraft (Cloud and Xbox Series X|S) – September 16
From the bunch, only Hollow Knight: Silksong is a day-one release for Game Pass in this wave.
As new games hit the Game Pass library, three titles from previous additions will be leaving it. All You Need is Help , Wargroove 2, and We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie will no longer be a part of Microsoft"s console, PC, and cloud subscriptions starting September 15, though they will remain purchasable on the Microsoft Store.
Don"t forget that Xbox Cloud Gaming is poised to drop its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate exclusivity too. Xbox Insiders with Xbox Game Pass Core or Standard can now use the cloud gaming service ahead of the full public rollout.
