Microsoft's cloud gaming platform, aptly titled Xbox Cloud Gaming, has been a major part of its Xbox platform for some time now. While still sporting the (beta) tag, the technology has expanded to offer titles on Game Pass as well as owned games across almost any device. However, access to it has been largely available only via the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and that is finally changing.
Announced today for Xbox Insiders, Xbox Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers are now able to jump into games via Xbox Cloud Gaming. These give players access to titles that are a part of their subscription tier, as well as any supported games that they own already.
For those that want to try out this Xbox Insider feature before it reaches the masses, head to xbox.com/play or the Xbox app on a TV, the Settings page, and enable preview features in the Accounts section. Xbox Cloud Gaming will then be available on all supported devices straight from the Home screen.
"We’re always exploring more ways to make your Xbox experience centered around you – your content, benefits, and playstyle," said Microsoft in today's announcement. "That’s why we’re making it easier to enjoy the games you love, wherever you are, and on any device."

That isn't the only Xbox Insider expansion happening today. Microsoft also announced that Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers can now jump into some PC games too, without needing a dedicated PC Game Pass subscription.
Standard and Core members can download the Xbox PC app on a Windows PC or handheld and head to the Game Pass tab to see what's available. "Whether you’re gaming on console, PC, or streaming via supported cloud devices, this update broadens your library and makes it easier to jump into your favorite games across more screens," added the company.
