You can now customize your Razer accessories without installing Synapse

If you have ever used a Razer product, you probably know about Synapse, the infamous app for customizing Razer"s mice, keyboards, and other accessories. Opinions on this app are quite polarizing, with many complaining about the app"s quality, its resource consumption, and more. Now, Razer is making a big step in the right direction by making it easier to customize its devices, all thanks to the newly launched Razer Synapse Web, a web-based app that does not require any software installation.

You can launch Razer Synapse Web from any Chromium-based browser, such as Chrome, Edge, or Vivaldi. Razer does not say if Safari and Firefox are supported, but the app launches on these browsers as well. It provides instant access to the needed settings, which is particularly useful on systems where you cannot install additional software or need to change something quickly. All the changes can then be saved to on-board profiles so that they can be carried across devices.

When time is tight or systems are locked down, installing full software is not always possible. Synapse Web turns any Chromium-based browser into a lightweight tuning hub, perfect for quick changes, tournament setups, shared PCs, and LAN environments. Focused on speed and simplicity, Synapse Web offers the core features gamers rely on most.

Synapse Web is now available as an open beta. As of right now, it only supports a bunch of Razer keyboards, namely the Razer Huntsman V3, including the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz, Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL 8KHz, and the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini.

In the announcement post, Razer adds that Synapse Web is not intended to replace Synapse 4, its standalone application. The latter remains the go-to solution for those who want to get the most out of their Razer tech, but for quick and easy adjustments, Synapse Web should get the job done for you without installing extra apps.
